 Europe's largest ecological catamaran, electrically powered by solar panels, wind turbines, batteries and diesel-electric thermal generators has been developed by boat builder Drassanes Dalmu. With a seating capacity of 150, a length of 78 feet and a width of 34 feet, the Eco Slim is intended mainly for tourism and can cruise at eight knots.

It is necessary to underline, that tourism is especially actual for Uzbekistan as cultural-informative tourism is the basic tourist product of the country. In country territory there is a significant amount of historical, archaeological, architectural and natural objects.

 Today questions of preservation of the environment draw to themselves attention not only in our country, but also all over the world. The special attention is given to protection of water resources - the world community is anxious by a long-term drought in Africa, China and other states. In these states because of deficiency of water agricultural crops perish, pets, extend various diseases. The United Nations Organization renders to these countries the gratuitous humanitarian .
In Republic of Uzbekistan for years of Independence was accepted a number of the Laws directed on preservation of the environment, including on water protection - the Republic of Uzbekistan Law «About water and water use». The state committee of Republic of Uzbekistan on Nature Protection conducts the rigid control over observance of nature protection Laws not only the enterprises, the organizations and establishments, but also citizens of the country. However it is not enough to supervise, it is necessary, that in actions of heads of a various link were considered a questions of preservation of the environment and especially questions of protection and rational use of water resources, pure potable water.

The United Nations Information Office (UNO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan, have organised the ‘Highest of Heights’ mountain photo exhibition at the UN Country Office in Uzbekistan, to be held on Friday the 16th of December in recognition of International Mountain Day (December 11th). This event is part of an on-going series of fortnightly UN Friday events. 
On December, 15th has celebrated the awarding ceremony of the contest “Qoplon-2011” for the best journalistic work in the field of environment conservation and sustainable development in the National Press-center of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. The event was organized by the State Committee for nature protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gosbiocontrol, Ecological Publishing Company «Chinor ENK», Ekoresource Center «Ekomaktab» with the support of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, the Israeli Embassy in Uzbekistan and representatives of the International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas "ICARDA". 
October, 5th it has taken place the press conference dedicated to the World Day of habitat protection at the National press centre of Uzbekistan. Organizers of the event were State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gosbiocontrol, ecological publishing company “Chinor ENK” with the support of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.
The sea always caused genuine interest in all mankind throughout long centuries. Three quarters of the largest cities in the world are at coast of the seas and oceans. Almost 3,5 billion persons receive the basic source of food from oceans. At all times people composed various legends, myths and histories about the seas and storming waves. Poets and novelists sang and displayed the seas in bright paints in the creativity.
On September, 21-23st, 2011 in Tashkent has opened the 6th International specialized exhibition «UzEnergyExpo-2011», an exhibition of an electric equipment for power, energy - and resource-saving technologies, the equipment for an oil and gas complex. Thematically the exhibition includes three basic directions: "Power"; «Energy-saving»; "Electrical engineer". 
Uzbekistan - is my native corner of the world where are many the most unique corners with the fine and unique nature, cultural and historical sights. Our ancient cities are popular among tourists all over the world. From all corners of globe people gather to have a look at of what we so are proud - East gem - Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara-Hiva.
In 1994 the General Assembly has proclaimed on September, 16th the International day of protection of an ozone layer. Since then annually on September, 16th is spent the important date for the world community - the International day of protection of ozone layer of the Earth which celebrating this year under the motto: «removal hydro- fluorine- chlorine - carbon - unique possibility». 
On September, 9th the State Committee of Republic of Uzbekistan on Nature Protection, the Ecological publishing company «Chinor ENK» and International fund "Ecosan" have held press conference in the National press centre of Uzbekistan. Action has been devoted questions of realization of the Concept by Republic of Uzbekistan - ecological formation with a view of a sustainable development, and also presentation of some new ecological editions.
For 20 years of independence of Republic of Uzbekistan in the country has been done the hugest work on modernization and equipment by the modern outfit practically in all branches of economy.
