The first swallows of desert nursery

Rare, unique in its beauty bird Clammydotis undulata macguenii, long ago fell into the category of vulnerable, declining species, it is included in the Red Book of the International Conservation Union and Red Book of Uzbekistan.
Causes for a catastrophic reduction of this kind are more than enough, among them, of course poaching, development of virgin regions and grazing, climate change exacerbated a process of  desertification.
It would seem that the situation is critical and we can lose forever  “beauty of  the deserts” – our Central Asian bustard.
Several years ago in Uzbekistan began an experiment on the breeding of the Clammydotis undulata macguenii. Considering a positive experience  on its breeding in the nurseries of Israel and Saudi Arabia, in the area of Uzbekistan were built two nurseries. They are situated near the Kyzyl-Kum desert.
