For Future Mothers, Children and Teenagers

The 3th International Specialized Exhibition of goods and services for future mothers, children and teenagers ‘Territoriya Detstva – Kids Land’ is held in Tashkent, at the NBK (National Exhibition Complex) ‘Uzexpocenter’ on 10-12 November.
The topic of this exhibition is not accidentally chosen. Uzbekistan is the most densely populated country in Central Asia and has the population of 27 million people, with annual growth of 500 thousand people.
In contradistinction to many other countries, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as all Central Asian countries, is characterized by a relatively “young’ population. In the cities of Uzbekistan average number of children in a family makes up 2-4 children and in the rural area their number is considerably larger – 6-8 children. In Uzbekistan a great attention is attached to the growing generation: stadiums are built, centers of children’s creation are developed, the children’s health is in the focus of attention, favourable conditions for all-round development of youth are created. It is not accidental that 2010 year was declared the ‘Year of the Harmoniously Developed Generation’ in Uzbekistan. In this connection, the arrangement of the International Specialized Exhibition is an actual event for our region. Our society has big interest in protection of mother and child’s health, correct upbringing of children, their comprehensive and full-fledged development. Therefore, high quality goods and services for pregnant women, young families and children are needed. Now the cooperation of family, educational institution, community and state is necessary for the creation of conditions for educational system development in Uzbekistan.
The exhibition ‘Territoriya Detstva – Kids Lands’ is the only specialized children’s exhibition in the territory of Uzbekistan. Besides its main goal – the development of production of domestic goods for children and teenagers, the exhibition  assists to popularization of innovations and broadening of contacts among specialists, working in the field of education and upbringing of children and teenagers.
The following organizations render official support to the exhibition: the Tashkent City Khokimiyat (Mayor’s Office), the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Public Education, the Public Unit of Business Women and Entrepreneurs, the Association for Support of Children and Families of Uzbekistan.
There are following sections in the exhibition: baby’s food and drinks, medical diet, vitamins; medicines for children; clothes, footwear and accessories for children, future and nursing mothers; facilities and equipment for child care, including new born babies; toys, games, including didactic and developing ones and etc.
Large entertaining and educational program is traditionally offered to the guests of the exhibition: drawing club, tale-teller’s corner – the meeting with a magic tale-teller that will tell children interesting stories. A clown will entertain children with cheerful and outdoor games.
The International Specialized Exhibition ‘Territoriya Detstva – Kids Land’ is expected to become the center for meetings of providers and consumers of goods for children and give the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest developments in this area.
The participation in the exhibition gives the companies the opportunity to display their competitiveness and make a name for them on the Uzbekistan market.
