Study for life

On May 20th, 2011 at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tashkent was held a ceremony of presentation the certificates about receipt grants and scholarships of the German Service of Academic Exchanges (DAAD), and so the ceremony of receipt German language diplomas of the second stage of the Secretariat of the Standing Conference of Ministers of Culture of the federal states of Germany.
The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Wolfgang Neuen, director of the Information Center DAAD in Tashkent Ms. Katja Dawes and coordinator for German of the Central Office for Schools Abroad, Mr. Sven Schroeder made a greeting speech. They congratulated all the fellows who could to win these awards and wish them further success and achievement. "Despite the fellows this year were more, it does not mean that everyone could realize his dream. Win a scholarship – it is the result of hard work, effort and initiatives. And scholarship - is just reward for your successes. And despite the fellows have already won the award and soon will travel to Germany, but they are faced with new challenges, because  a new country, new culture and customs - it is not so easy as it looks in reality. Begin adult life, where you will participate in the race of globalization processes. And it's really a difficult task and all of you will overcome it, "- said Mr. Wolfgang Neuen.
In 2011, the DAAD has allocated 99 scholarships to students, undergraduates, graduate students and scientists of Uzbekistan. Except of  individual scholarships and grants, DAAD offers a lot of  group grants. DAAD annually allocates about 350 grants to citizens of Uzbekistan. The German language diplomas were awarded to 17 participants from schools in the Republic of Uzbekistan who work closely with the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA). This diploma is awarded to students who successfully passed  exam. This diploma is a document of the passage studying  the German language with the assistance of Germany, and certifies  the presence of German language skills required for entry to the institutes of higher education in Germany. Therefore, an examination in German language diploma has a great importance.
It was very gratifying to watch the happy faces, both students and adults, doctors and professors who are on a par with the students could  to win this award and to go to Berlin for the replenishment of the luggage of knowledge and exchanging of the experience. And this trip will become a powerful incentive to overcome and achieve the next objectives of the life.
Mr. Ambassador said: "We study not for school, we study for life." It is the truth. Everything depends on us, you only need a very strong wish and your dreams come true.
